How to Back Up Your Data

Backing up your data ensures that your messages, photos, and other content are safe even if you lose your device or switch to a new one. Here's how to back up your data on Laytly:

Automatic Backups

Laytly can automatically back up your data to the cloud:

1. Open the Laytly app

2. Go to your Profile

3. Tap on "Settings"

4. Select "Backup & Storage"

5. Toggle on "Automatic Backups"

You can configure:

Manual Backups

To create a backup manually:

1. Go to Settings > Backup & Storage

2. Tap "Back Up Now"

3. Select what you want to include

4. Tap "Start Backup"

The app will show a progress indicator while the backup is being created.

Viewing Your Backups

To see your existing backups:

1. Go to Settings > Backup & Storage

2. Tap "View Backups"

Restoring From a Backup

If you need to restore your data:

1. Install Laytly on your device

2. Log in to your account

3. When prompted, choose "Restore from Backup"

4. Select the backup you want to restore from

5. Tap "Restore"

If you're already logged in:

1. Go to Settings > Backup & Storage

2. Tap "Restore"

3. Select the backup to restore from

4. Tap "Start Restore"

Local Backups

You can also create local backups that are stored on your device:

1. Go to Settings > Backup & Storage

2. Tap "Export Backup"

3. Choose what to include

4. Select a location to save the backup file

To import a local backup:

1. Go to Settings > Backup & Storage

2. Tap "Import Backup"

3. Locate and select your backup file
